A five-week program giving Pierce's youngest students real, hands-on fire safety skills — taught by the firefighters who serve them.
In 2018 we reinstated the Jr. Fire Patrol program for students in the Pierce community.
The program launched open to 4th–6th graders in its first year so that all students had a chance to take part. In the years since, the program has been provided to 4th graders only, giving every Pierce student the same opportunity at the same age.
In our first year back, we averaged 66 students per night throughout the five-week program. We're grateful to every student and every parent who has taken part!
